Nine areas across the Philippines recorded danger-level heat indices ranging from 42 degrees Celsius to 43 C on Wednesday, Nov. 4, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Dumangas, Iloilo, recorded the highest heat index at 43 C.
Eight other areas registered 42 C:

- San Jose in Occidental Mindoro
- Iloilo City in Iloilo
- La Carlota in Negros Occidental
