The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Tuesday officially launched its 24/7 hotline, 15/30, which will replace the agency’s existing 1349 hotline.

The new hotline, accessible by dialing 1-5-3-0, will serve as a platform for both employees and employers to raise questions and report labor-related concerns.

Through the hotline, the public can report complaints involving unpaid wages and benefits, illegal dismissal, violations of labor standards and workplace safety issues.

DOLE Secretary Francis Tolentino assured the public that personnel will be assigned to answer calls around the clock, including during the graveyard shift.

Additional personnel will also handle inquiries and concerns submitted through the agency’s email, website and social media platforms.

However, Tolentino clarified that the launch of the hotline does not mean all complaints will be resolved immediately, as these will first be referred to the appropriate DOLE offices for proper action.
