Five men were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Lucena City on Sunday, Nov. 1, as police marked All Saints’ Day.
According to a report by Benjie Antioquia, the police conducted buy-bust operations in different locations at noon and in the evening.
Police Col. Bong Albacea said the individuals were caught despite expectations that authorities would be busy with Undas security operations.
The five suspects are currently detained at the Lucena City Jail and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
