Visit Finland is giving singles around the world a chance to enjoy an all-expenses-paid getaway — complete with dinner dates with local Finnish singles.

Through its “Finnish Dinner Date” campaign, part of the “Have Some Finnish” initiative, the tourism agency is offering 16 lucky participants free flights, accommodation, meals and curated cultural experiences.

The catch? You have to be single — and be ready to show off your dinner-date skills.

Eight participants will be selected for each destination: Helsinki, Finland's capital, and Tampere, in the country's Lakeland region.

From Feb. 9 to 19, 2027, selected participants will take part in four-day itineraries featuring group dinner dates with local singles. The evenings will include specially prepared tasting menus by chefs Adela Kinnunen in Helsinki and Henri Tikkanen in Tampere.

Who can join?

The campaign is open to single adults aged 18 and above from anywhere in the world, except residents of Finland. Applications must be submitted individually.

How to apply?

Interested applicants must record a short video in English answering one question: “What would you serve on a dinner date, and why?”

Post the video publicly on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. Unlisted YouTube videos are also accepted.

Don't forget to use the hashtag #FinnishDinnerDate and tag Visit Finland.

Applicants must then fill out the official application form on the Finnish Dinner Date website and submit their video link.

The deadline for applications is Nov. 10, 2026, at 11:59 a.m. Finnish time (EET).

The 16 selected participants will be announced on Dec. 1 through Visit Finland's social media channels.

So, if your idea of a perfect date involves good food, new connections and a free trip abroad, this could be your chance to bring your dinner-date game to Finland.
