Five suspected armed robbery group members were killed while two others remain at large following a series of armed encounters with police in Bacoor City, Cavite, on Tuesday, November 3.

According to the Police Regional Office 4A, the incidents occurred between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. in Barangays Molino 3 and Molino 4.

The operation stemmed from intelligence reports that an armed group was planning to rob a gold owner and a wealthy individual in the Town and Country subdivision.

Police operatives attempted to flag down the suspects' vehicles for inspection, but the occupants allegedly opened fire, prompting a pursuit.

The suspects reportedly fired at pursuing officers again near the Molino Flyover, where their vehicle crashed and overturned, resulting in the deaths of two suspects.

Two other suspects then allegedly hijacked a Honda Click motorcycle at gunpoint and fled toward Dasmariñas Road. They were later killed following another armed encounter near Cerritos Heights, while the stolen motorcycle was recovered.

Authorities said two other suspects managed to evade arrest and remain at large. Investigators are continuing their probe, with Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) requested to conduct forensic examination and crime scene.
