The Quezon City government has officially opened the 125-meter Valencia Linear Park along Bonny Serrano Avenue beside Ermitanyo Creek on Saturday, October 17, as part of its efforts to expand green and open spaces.

Mayor Joy Belmonte led the opening of the new park, which features permeable surfaces and a drainage system designed to help address flooding in the area.

In a social media post, Belmonte reiterated her administration’s commitment to building a “livable, green, and sustainable city,” noting that Quezon City now has more than 370 parks.

The Valencia Linear Park is open to the public daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
