Senator Raffy Tulfo criticized the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) and New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) over nonfunctional closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at airports, following reports of theft incidents inside airport facilities.
“Useless. Inutil. Pinaglololoko niyo kami,” Tulfo said, expressing frustration over the security concerns.
The senator ordered the MIAA to submit a comprehensive report on the status of airport CCTV cameras and directed authorities to ensure their immediate operation to strengthen airport security.
